That was disgraceful and sorrowful for the Pakistani people
She shouldn’t have been assassinated.

The country will face chaos like never before, the only national leader existing in Pakistan in the times of Musharraf is gone, and so as any beam of hope for the Pakistani nation to rise over poverty, education and a better political future…

No matter how much alleged charges Bhutto and her husband faced before, and he supposedly alliance to the states, and though they might have been true, her come back to Pakistan was promising, as she said before she was never a threat to democracy but she was a threat to terrorism and extremism, if Pakistan had to choose between her and Musharraf, then she would definitely had been the suitable choice..

Strong and courageous late Benazir is in my opinion had set an example of a strong Muslim woman, knowing that she was surrounded by dangers in every step of her way, she still gave speeches and gone everywhere just 3 weeks before elections…

American support she received was in my opinion 1st because she is a woman in an Islamic country, and second because of them fed up with Musharraf (who was supposed to be their loyal servant before)…It’s confusing to me, but that’s how I see it.

I will not talk about her life, and her political career, even if we didn’t like what she stood for or what she represented, assassinating her was a “Cowardly” action just like Bush said in his speech (this guy love pulling faces, and I adore his so called “sad one”)
God bless the Pakistani nation, nothing breaks my heart more than seeing our countries in chaos, sadness and grief…
Her death will continue into being a mystery, just like any other assassination in the region...el Qaeda claimed responsibility…well I thought Musharraf is not that stupid to assassinate her and he is already In power…Mystery will remain

Nothing will be the same in Pakistan; I just hope it won’t turn into another “Iraq”!

Two days ago, the first League of Arab States Youth Forum drew it's last lines ending year 2007 with a new event collecting Arab youth in a rare (meaningful) gathering.

Actually when i received the invitation i was really reluctant about joining, scared of the "usual" bla bla, but i was proven a little bit wrong!

I didn't join, the fact is i just went to meet my Euro-Med youth parliament friends, but going there i felt i really need to be a part of this atmosphere, with north african arabs meeting with sham meeting with gulf youth, it's everywhere! and everywhere i want to be...Leaving on that day i went was hard going back home was even harder that i just decided i will go back the next day attend all the event till the end and pay for myself!

I could have stayed with my dear Algerian friend in her room and "no one would have known" for God's sake 300 participant ill be among the flock lol but still it felt better paying for myself!!

Flaws! being in "Stella de Mare" is the worst thing for this forum, it's one of the best resorts in el ain el sukhna (Red Sea) very fancy and so not Egypt, it was for a good image but not for facing truths.

Despite the fact that there was major negative issues concerning organizing, the forum still succeeded in bringing Arab youth on one table discussing their very own issues, with freedom and sincere devotion for a better future...It's true (UNFPA/UNDP) were sponsors thus we needed to discuss issues that these organizations had set for us (like reproductive health, sex education, discrimination against women, etc...) but that hadn't prevent us from thinking out of the box, discussing these issues and much more!

I was personally happy to talk with youngesters from the gulf, breaking each and every stereotype image i had for them, an amazing Omani woman, a wonderful Bahraini girl, and a brilliant Qatari guy,were enough to show me how we needed to sit together and see what has been going through our heads that we never knew existed..Major changes had happened in the way i perceive gulf societies at the moment, away from money they are fighting for same freedoms and rights we are trying to achieve, money was more of a curse than a blessing to those who believe in a better future! (not economically of course;-)

I believe in the Arab youth, how this forum showed us how similar we are, and how WE can sit together talk seriously no fighting, no one leaving for no reason, it was different this time...

We agreed that we will agree...no matter what...

Busy Busy Busy !! Gosh last couple of days i've bees so busy between my graduation project and the Euro-Med parliament preparations, we have been meeting this week in Goethe institute for preparation we start at 9 and finish by 5 and Germans are such hard workers seriously they make you love and enjoy work, mmm something we lack in here ?!! yesssss.

Although it might be one of the most tiring and exhausting activities i've joined but i've enjoyed it really much, and i gained knowledge as well as friends:)
We didn't start real work yet, but the preparations are a good begining...

Okay so, 5th of March?? does that ring any bells?? Yup yup yup:D
I'll be 22 tomorrow...and am feeling hmmm not sure..

I loved being 21 it was like ur still in between in the middle, in the middle of what exactly i don't know, if i am to choose i'll prefer being 18 :D:D hehhe

If am to review last year and being 21 mmm well, like any year the good the bad and the ugly, but mmm maybe experienced some feelings i've never had before, did new interesting things, visited new nice places, got my first real work experiences, and got back on track concerning my career goals, i lost many dear people as well, i fixed some of my friendships relations and i had new friends as well:)

I can say that my 21 was one of the best years i've lived with too many turning points in my life and many new things done and tried:)

My wishlist for 22 wont b for gifts, it will be my dreams:)
So here it goes:

-To be with U.
-I want to be a better Muslim.
-Make my parents proud of me, am so thankful for their trust and confidence in me
-I want to be a better sister, no matter what am doing now i want to be there for my sister and little brother more than before.
-To graduate successfuly and to start focusing on my career.
-Complete my French courses.
-To complete living in a healthy life style.
-Read more.
-Be more of a hard worker than i am.
-To be a better Friend to all my friends.
-Visit some other new places in Egypt and abroad.
-Do postgraduate studies.

-Do more social work, i wish for a better tomorrow and to be a part of making it:)

mmm Enough let's be realistic:D

I am planning to have my birthday party, i never had a *Big* party before, i always celebrate with my family and i enjoy it, this year am thinking *Big* as the 22 lol to have a party somewhere...

This week is going to be full, i got a zillion things to do and plan, till next week when i'll be heading to Alex inshAllah for one week, where the primary meeting for the parliament will be held...

Just wishing for me a nice b'day, and i wish from the bottom of my heart happiness for every one...
